 Diana's Home Sitting Service searches for responsible Home Sitters to live in and properly maintain unoccupied homes for a reduced fee. Our Home Sitters are carefully screened and selected to move into a sizeable home with their own furniture on a temporary basis and if necessary be able to move out with as little as 10 days notice, though anything less than 3-4 weeks is quite rare. We also provide Home Sitters for furnished homes when owners are on vacation or leave their homes unattended for extended periods of time.
As a Home Sitter, you benefit from the opportunity to live in a substantial home while paying a greatly reduced fee ($300 - $500 a month) in exchange for excellent upkeep of the residence. There is a $500 refundable damage deposit and Home Sitters are required to carry Liability Insurance (Tenants' Policy) with minimum $100,000 liability coverage. (Policies typically run about $125 a year.) There is no minimum lease period required.
All of our Home Sitters are professionally screened for credit, employment, residential and criminal history. There is a $33.00 non-refundable charge for screening.
Market conditions allow most of our Home Sitters to move into a residence for a minimum of 1 to 3 months. Many times they are able to reside there for much longer, sometimes over a year. We try to inform Home Sitters promptly regarding any changes and strive to make any transition in or out of a residence as accommodating as possible. We will always assist our Home Sitters in any way we can.

Our Home Sitters are also required to carry minimum $100,000 liability insurance and our frequent inspections will assure that your home is kept to your expectations.
